This mod changes the JK2 hud into something abstract. It doesn't look bad, actually...the new texture has a transparent background, so you don't have to worry about the (already small enough) hud getting in the way any more.
The basic shape is still a circle, but with grass (or something similar) coming off of them. They're colored completely black. The shield meter consists of two circles that change color from green to red as they deplete, and the health uses a single red bar in the same way. The ammo and force are unchanged as far as I can tell.
To be honest, part of me liked this. Maybe you will too - check out the screenshot.
