8472 Galaxy MVAM

The Species 8472 Galaxy class dreadnought returns in a big way in this mod. Why Species 8472 uses the technology of the weak to make them perish, I don't quite understand. Even more oblivious to me is why they'd have big honkin' embryos sticking out of a Galaxy class. Like, try to blend in! Maybe they won't notice we're not Starfleet!

I don't know. Either way, this one includes the ability to separate your Galaxy class so that one passive embryo goes with the saucer while the other follows the stardrive section into battle. I don't know, maybe they're a married couple. Sometimes this ship ain't big enough for both of 'em..... Or something. I don't know.

Regardless of what I think, if you play Species 8472 and miss your Galaxy class explorers terribly, this one's for you. Get it if you want it.

BUT YOU NEED TO HAVE THE PATCH. Otherwise the MVAM required to separate the saucer from the stardrive won't quite work. There's only one separator in the game and you'll have some mod work to do if you expect it to use that. Follow the instructions. They explain better than I could.

(speaking of doing things better than I could.... those were the screenshots 1_beta_1 sent me, so you'll have to squint a fair bit to make it all out....)
