Description
(Taken from ReadMe)
"Okay, so its a big, dead, important rock." -Kyle Katarn
The words ring true, and provide a good description of Vjun. Vjun is one of the most legendary planets in the Expanded Universe, as it was the location of the throne and residence of Darth Vader. And what better of a place for your throne than a desolate, long-dead world rained on by toxic acids, right?
However, in JK: Jedi Academy (one of the only video games to feature Vjun), much of the focus is on Bast Castle and the traps and chambers inside. In this map, I have explored the outer terrain and rugged existence of the rest of Vjun, with Vader's Fortress taking only a minor role.

Barren Legends: Vjun is the third installment in a series of maps I (Med8r) have entitled Legends, depicting interesting and unusual planets in the Star Wars Galaxy, or planets which I have remapped from the stock EaW version.
The general layout of the map: A mountainous region, through the middle of which the River Weeping runs. It spills into the Bay of Tears, to the southeast. To the northwest lies a mountain peak, upon which rests Bast Castle (also known as Vader's Fortress).
The teams lie on opposite sides of the river, and there are two shallows that will be definite hotspots. He who controls the river controls the game. (See screenshots for more).
This map is designed for only 2 teams, but there are multiple attack routes and deadly maneuvring surprises to keep it lively. There are also several Imperial Prisons. Destroying those could give you extra reinforcements...or release deadly surprises.
Due to the acidic rainfall on Vjun, your infantry will automatically take damage over time, so for players who love the use of overpowering infantry, this will definitely be a drawback.

Enjoy!
