Choke Point

Here we have a new map called Choke Point from [b]Lieutenant_G[/b]. Like all good RTS/4X maps this celebrates the famed choke point that is in nearly all RTS games. You must make the difficult choice. Either you waste resources blowing through the pirate planets, or you could take the long way and keep your fleet intact! Which will you choose? The choke points in this map are two pirate bases adjacent to the star, there is a bypass of this choke point which is a longer path to victory. This choke point depends on a few things to be honest. In order to defend against and defeat the pirates holed up there you will probably have to colonize the planet/asteroids along the bypass anyways though depending on the difficulty of the AI the pirates should keep you busy enough until you wipe them out. Overall its a nicely desgined map and against a friend it will provide some nice short bloody combat! :)
