I don't know if I would call this D-Day as much as I would call it island battle. The height variation tool does make the islands look nice. A bit more texture variation, some use of the blur tool and the islands would be immaculate.
I can see what the author was going for, but the map seems rather bland. The islands in the corners could use some variation and props. Maybe some islands in the middle...? Just my thoughts. Still, not a bad map.
