Luftlandeoperation der Amerikaner
In der Nacht vom fünften auf den sechsten Juli 1944 landeten 14000 alliierte Fallschirmspringer im Hinterland des Utah Beach. Ziel war es die kleine Stadt St. Mére Eglise einzunehmen. Berühmt wurde der Ort dadurch, das die zwei Fallschirmspringer John Steel und Ken Russell mit ihren Schirmen an der Kirche hängenblieben. So viel zum geschichtlichen Hintergrund. Die Map für FH2 präsentiert uns leGriffu im 16, 32 und 64 Layout. Für alle Layer wurde der Push-Modus integriert, was durchaus sinnvoll ist um die nächtlichen Scharmützel zu konzentrieren.
