4) Mod Description:

After I released my Knife Replacement Pack, I decided it would be a good idea to make a similar mod for the guns in AvP2. Unfortunately this time around I had a lot less models to work with as I couldn't (well I could) just slap an object into the players hands to use as a gun. It wouldn't have been realistic looking. However, I managed to replace most of the guns, with the exception of the smartgun and the minigun. The Gun Replacement Pack (GRP) is comprised of multiple gun models from NOLF1 that wered edited for use in AvP2. I also created five other individual rez files that when used, will modify the GRP to exchange a gun. For example, you can swap the SMG with an AK47. You can use these other rez files to configure the GRP to your liking. I also replaced some extra stuff in the GRP such as the hacking device, some gun sounds, a few event sounds, and a new armor pickup model. The last interesting feature of the GRP may even be the best part of the mod, as I changed the bullet shell models to be much larger and realistic looking shells. These new shells are far more visible than the default shells which you could barely see in AvP2. For more details on the specific changes in the mod and extra rez files, read the info below.
