Pioneer

Description
Lizardmen have been the boogeyman of men for a long time, but an armoured one is something rarely seen. This one, hailed as Pioneer, has taken bits and pieces of slain enemies (usually Shadowtroopers) and integrated them into his metallic carapace. The end result looks quite good, I must admit, but the way these pieces of armour interact with the lights is a bit odd. The specular lighting cuts off very abruptly, owing to the specular maps having their contrast pushed to the far right. There is also the problem of the armour being pulled onto cloth, resulting in a very flat suit of metal.

For improvements, I suggest remodeling a bit, since overlapping pieces usually stick out, if even a little. The specular maps could also be greatly improved. Instead of taking the contrast to great heights, desaturate the texture, increase the contrast and brightness a little and that usually gives you a serviceable spec map.
