Description
Who remembers Shadow Link, more appropriately known as Link\'s doppelganger. (Did I even spell that right?)

No one? Well, let me refresh your memory. Ocarina of Time. Water Temple. The nice, open room with the shiny water and the stone path. Get it now? Good. Because that\'s what this skin is intended to be.

Sadly, it\'s not as accurate as it could have been, but I think I\'m willing to chalk that up to the engine itself, like every other inherent technical flaw. Basically, it\'s Link, and he\'s been tweaked, saturated, desaturated, and a load of other filters/adjustments which I can\'t quite work out.

Aesthetically, this one really isn\'t all that. Neither was the original Shadow Link, of course, but with Q3 engine graphics, you\'d expect a higher quality. When you see this running around, your first thoughts are likely to be \"What the heck?\". The colors don\'t blend well together, and the filters don\'t work very well at all.

From a technical viewpoint, I\'d suggest that the author takes more care to note positioning of the UV maps, and blend each skin component together so that the skin flows seamlessly into one, rather than seperate parts. A bit of reflective and semi-transparency work in the shaders would be a good touch too.

As this skin is right now, it\'s nothing notable. The concept is good, but in execution, it needs more work and refinement. Thankfully, the author has listed this as v1.0, so that could be an indication that this will be fixed up for those Zelda fans out there. As it is right now, I can\'t recommend it so much. But, I\'m not you, so if you want to give it a whirl, go right ahead.
