Yay! More Sithmaster555 submissions! I must say, I might not have enjoyed reviewing some of his submissions, but it just makes me happy when someone starts out with poorly-made mods, and expands to do other things, and improves. Some people would give up. Others would whine. But I’m glad to see that Sithmaster555 has just taken it, and improved. It may not be much, but it is an improvement.

This is a small collection of saber replacements for Jedi Outcast. Yes, Outcast. If you haven’t noticed it yet, but Sithmaster555 only mods for Jedi Outcast. Why, I’m not sure, but I don’t care. Anyways, the models, as you might expect, are simple, with simple skinning that might not look really grand, but you really don’t pay attention to sabers in Jedi Outcast, because everyone’s is the same! So – there are three sabers included: a rapier, a saber, and Tang Chinese War Sword. As I said, the models are simple, but they work. In fact, the biggest thing that needs work is the UV mapping, and skinning. The skinning is indistinct, and could contain more detail – that’s where UV mapping comes in. If you map it in a way that is easy for you to skin, you can put detail wherever you want it, rather than having to squish it all into a small area. But actually, these don’t look too bad in-game. Nice job Sithmaster555. Remember: practice, while it may not necessarily mean perfect – really helps you improve. If you people like these, then download them. Remember, they’re made for Jedi Outcast, so they’re not set up for Jedi Academy, and you can only have one in your base folder at a time.
