Description
Here we have a rather unique saber hilt. I even remember when this was requested on LucasForums, though I never imagined it would reach completion. But SithDagger surprised us all. The most challenging thing about this hilt is the vines that are wrapped around it -- a very difficult thing to model. I know as I've tried it in a simpler fashion, and even what I did was hard. However this would really take some patience. Unfortunately it's not perfect, as the vines stick out from the hilt at some hard angles at places and don't always look like they are carefully wrapped around the hilt. Despite the difficulty of this technique, taking a little extra time to get it a bit nicer-looking would've been beneficial.

Overall, however, it's a very unique hilt, and relatively well-made. The vines even have little leaves on them. I've never much liked having pommel rings on hilts, since the fact that they are stiff really makes me think of them as somewhat silly (including any other "dangling" portion on a hilt), but they look pretty good all things considered. I'd recommend that SithDagger keeps practicing, because his models are getting progressively better, which is something all of us here love to see.
