Well this is certainly a cool model. It’s the sword Nero wields in Devil May Cry 4. Now, I’m not familiar with Devil May Cry at all, so I’ll just have to go on the author’s word when he says it’s not totally accurate. So I’ll just look at the model.

The blade is constructed in a simple manner. A few objects, with each containing different levels of detail. Most of the detail is in the skinning, but it’s very nicely done detail. The model looks great in-game. What advice I would give is to model more onto it, but what’s the point when the game itself is low poly? If you can add nice detail with the skinning, then you might as well do it. You should download this sword and try it out.
