Sith Battle Robe

One of our newer modders, RC-2212payback (who gave us the Shasha mods), is back with another robe for us to play with for the first [i]Knights of the Old Republic[/i]. This one is a Sith robe.

I must say that even though I know this won’t be a super hit because it’s a single robe mod, it is very well done. What really sells this robe for me is how the author used the red coloring. I’ve talked about this a lot lately since it seems to be an issue with the high contrast in the red in robes/clothing, but this isn’t the case with this robe skin – props to the author for doing excellent work on that. In some ways you’re ahead of the game with your coloring versus other modders just because of that which is a tough one to master as I’ve had a hard time with that myself in my personal modding.

This is definitely a good traditional type robe with its reds and blacks on it which fit the Sith perfectly as established by George Lucas in the Star Wars Saga. I did check out the stats on the robe and it will offer some good protection and such but the one thing that stuck out to me that is almost a useless attribute would be the 50% immunity to the light side. What Jedi do you fight in this game? The answer to that would be Juhani and Jolee if you stay true to the dark side. Jolee has a neutral alignment so it’s useless against him, so the one person it will help you with is Juhani. I do understand the intent with the added feat, but it’s one of those things where if you really think about it, it won’t help you at all although this robe does give you enough where you won’t need it anyway.
