Description
Oh god, the amount of lame gags we're about to get.

So, Wiimote. Last time I used one of these, I used muscles I didn't even know I had. Then collapsed on a chair while my arms attempted to recover. Wanna get in shape? Get a Wii. The fact it has games Sonic and the Secret Rings and Smash Bros Brawl is entirely coincidental....

Many noted the Wiimote's similarity to a lightsaber hilt, and theorised it could be potentially useful for a Star Wars game. Those people are insane. Do you want to take a field trip to the hospital!? Man, as if Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles wasn't bad enough! Of course, then we have those who go one step further, and actually make the Wiimote a lightsaber. Literally. I wish I was joking.

And there's the commentary done. Onto the model itself, it's blocky as hell, but anyone who's actually used a Wiimote knows that it's basically a motion-sensitive brick anyway. I was surprised at how heavy those things are. Not so heavy as to be considered heavy, but they look featherweight. Turns out they actually weigh about as much as a late 90s cellphone. Textures are photosourced, and basically raw photosources. They're fine, but could use a little post-processing work. It's pretty Wiimotey as Wiimotes go, not totally accurate though.

Note the actual Wiimote's smoothed corners, and more blended appearance as far as the texture goes. Take the little details into account for the next version. It's well on it's way but not quite there.

And I gotta say, this is the first time I've had a model where an in-depth review wasn't possible, yet the model wasn't really far off the mark. Only when Nintendo's involved....

By the way. There's an overwrite version included for the Katarn hilt.
