Make sure you have the latest patch (1.04) installed. Then simply extract the _bfme2polished1_4.big file into your Battle for middle earth 2 folder. That is all you need to do to play the mod.
You caBfME2 is a great game, however it lacks polishing and there are quite a lot of things in the game which are broken/useless/underpowered. The aim of the mod is to fix that by giving every unit/structure/spell a purpose in the game.
