Dead Matter is a open world zombie survival mod. It focuses on survival and what happens to people during and after the outbreak of the zombie virus.The mod is to been seen as a way of telling a story and as a giant sandbox that is filled with ravenous zombies. The game communicates fear to the player, and the struggle for survival as the mod almost falls into the simulation category. The mod will feature Advanced Zombie AI, that dynamically respond to the environment every sound every flash of bright light triggers nearby walkers into assaulting the player, that is if they can find the player.
