Description
Vanilla UI Plus (VUI+) is a Fallout New Vegas mod that improves the vanilla user interface without changing it too much. Unlike similar mods, it doesnt try to shoehorn too many elements on the screen nor does it change the look and feel of the game.
Major Changes
All changes are fully documented as comments in the packed files, but heres a list of the ones that stand out:
The values for DAM/DPS and DT/DR use separate cards instead of crossfading on the same card. The separate cards appear in item stats and also on top of the Items section in the PIP Boy, where they replace Hit Points. Hit Points are still displayed in the Stats section.
Undiscovered locations (empty triangle spoilers) are not displayed in the compass until you discover them: This elevates the importance of the Explorer perk, but if youd rather keep undiscovered locations as they are in vanilla, remove the included Textures\Interface\interfaceshared.tai file.

The Barter, Container and Recipe menus use a uniform style that fits more items. This is most important for the Recipe menu which is really ugly in vanilla. The Items, Quests and Notes lists on the PIP Boy are also expanded to fit more content.
The annoying clicking noise when pointing on ingredients in the Recipe menu has been fixed. The fix does not apply when there is a scrollbar on the igredient list, but, with the aforementioned formatting improvements, the scrollbar will not appear in normal circumstances.
