Minotaur

Description
Following The Ideals laid down by its predecessor, the Cerebus, The Minotaur was designed with speed, maneuverability and power in mind. The ship was also the test bed for the new technologies to be used for the excelsior refit of 2293.
To alleviate the inherent design flaws of the cerebus that prevent long missions and the lack of accomodation, parts of the Miranda-esque roll-bar were to be made accomodateable, and the Excelsior-refit saucer was used to further increase accomdations.
Fitted with up to date weapons, engines, and two squadrons of fighters and a compliment of shuttle craft, the Minotaur was meant to be the new fast dreadnought of the fleet, but the cost to build the ship made the previous DNF more sensible.
