Gamall is back with version 2 of the Quake3 Server Commander. This utility, which is available for both Windows users as well as Linux users, allows a little more control over your server. It features five modes: messenger mode, monitor mode, get_cvar mode, direct query mode, and classic rcon mode. I'm not going to go into a lot of detail since I can't explain it any better than the read-me, but this should be ideal for server managers who want a bit more hands-off (or more hands-on) control over their servers. Each management mode brings a little something to the table, so folks are bound to find something that works for them. Also this utility should work even for those who do not have the game installed, so if you want to force your best friend in Kentucky to run a dedicated server for you, he can chat with you in-game without [i]having[/i] the game, among many other features.
