No, there are two teams the Hazardous Environment Exploration Team or the Black Mesa Military Security force. Upon choosing your team you will spawn in your respective area with weapons relating to the team you are on. For example the Half-Life The Beginning is a Team Based Objective Orientated Cooperative modification of the hit game Half-Life. All current Beta releases will be multiplayer only.
