Tank Rush vs. MCV Rush

A Clan match between the CnC-Files top staff and the Suicide Kings! JohnWE and Mr. Funsocks vs. TheGunrun and MaximumNewbage.

In this one you get to see the grand strategy of a tank rush against an MCV rush. It is a rather close game too.

After analyzing this replay, you\'ll see that I managed to roll out three tanks before the MCV reached my base. These seemed to make the difference between victory and defeat, as they took out TheGunrun\'s defenses rather quickly. On a smaller map it may be possible to get the MCV there soon enough to get the result you wish.

However, we did also play on a small map and the MCV rush failed. I didn\'t have any tanks ready, but I managed to keep him from capturing my buildings.

This replay does however show the weakness of the MCV rush. If it doesn\'t work, you don\'t have anything to back up the attack, and it\'s game over for you. It may be possible to build a Refinery by your crane, but that would slow down the speed at which you get buildings at your MCV.
