Ahh it’s good to be back as a reviewer! Now, let’s see what we have here…

Well, this is a new (v2) skin of Kyle Katarn back in his younger days from Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight. I went and downloaded the demo of Dark Forces too, especially to see how accurate this skin was, and I can safely say that it is indeed pretty accurate, even though the modifications to the original skin have only been minor.

Kyle’s hair colour has been made darker, and there’s no grey, although in Dark Forces 2, his hair seems a much lighter shade of brown. He has no longer got gloves on and has a different set of pants and boots. The only gripes I have with this skin is that the hair colour is a little off, and I think his shirt should be white rather than beige from what I saw in the DF2 Demo. Also, the most major thing is of course, that this skin replaces the default Kyle skin in the skin selection menu.

There doesnt seem to be many changes over the original version of this skin, but this looks pretty good in my opinion.

Besides that I think this is a good skin, so if you like the look of it, or played the original Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, and want to relive a small slice of that past ‘golden age’ give this file a download! :)
