Gimli Canderous

Well, [i]Lord of the Rings[/i] has finally made its way into the original [i]Knights of the Old Republic[/i] game. We got another mod here from Korean77777 that changes yet another appearance of a KOTOR character. This time the author has made his way to Canderous.

Does anybody who has seen the [i]Lord of the Rings[/i] movies remember Gimli? I’ve only seen each of those movies once, so I don’t remember all the names of the characters. I looked at the pictures and realized that Gimli was the dwarf. My favorite character of the LotR movies was the Elf and yet I can’t even remember his name off the top of my head. Granted I haven’t watched any of the movies since their movie releases, so that would mean that I haven’t seen [i]Return of the King[/i] in over three years.

Anyway, the skinning job on the TGA file is great when looking at that. The only problem is that it really doesn’t fit will with the Canderous model since the helmet is textured and the model doesn’t use a helmet like Gimli. It looks like the forehead has been fitted with tattoos instead of being a helmet. There really isn’t much you can do about that for wanting the helmet on him. I do think that both characters have something in common and that they are tough to kill. That is the one connection I can see with them both and it maybe the reason why the author was inspired to make Canderous look like Gimli. Well, if you need a change with the Mandalorian, here’s an option for you. Enjoy the new skin! :D
