First build by the Feanorian shipyards in 2507, the midas class is the first ship to have an operational transwarp-core,
giving it an fantastic topspeed of near warp 10 and the golden plasma that gave it it\'s name.
Although hundreds of these vesels where sold to the federation, The ship kept the NX² registry,
as a tribute to this new breakthrough in technology.
