Description
A lot of the shortcomings I saw in version one have been fixed this time around, but this skin could still use quite a bit of work. I\'m seeing it as something of a work-in-progress, a learning experience perhaps. As such I\'m not going to tend toward being mean and critical.

First of all, let\'s take a look at some of the \"fixed\" features this time around. The first thing I noticed was the flap on the jacket, which is now there. The second thing I noticed as an increase of details, especially on the shoulder pieces. The boots are also now black, as they should be. Pitfall: the brushing is all still very sloppy and very flat. There is no indication this is a cloth of any kind (and I assume it\'s cloth rather than a lycra suit).

I suppose the problem here is that as an anime character, this particular character is drawn very flat - cell shaded, right? This skin is somewhere between the two. It retains some of the model\'s original textures, which are photorealistic, while the new features are very flat and lifeless. Very anime, as it were, except for the very thick brush lines which, even for anime, look somewhat out of place. The author here just really needs to practice brushing technique and really learn how to use the software. And keep practicing, of course, because the old saying is true: practice makes perfect.
