Now, on with the review!

I used to watch the old Stargate a fair bit when it was on TV, and I also think the film is great, but I have never seen Stargate Atlantis, so I don’t really know what its like. I have seen plenty of pictures however, and there is a few Stargate Atlantis files on this site, including a map. And from what I have seen, the skin AmonR@ brings us here is indeed a good representation of a Stargate Atlantis soldier.

I think the author has done an excellent job of re-skinning the Base JKA Jedi model, it looks accurate to the pictures that I looked at, and it also appears to have some custom sounds too. Although it sounded like they were taken from another base JKA player character.

All in all this is a cleanly done reskin, I couldn’t find any bugs or anything wrong with it. So well done there mate! :)

As with all mod’s of any kind though, there are always some bits that can be improved upon.

One small point would be to try and put your mod in a .zip file next time. It isn’t anything of great importance, but it just makes it a bit easier for people who download your mod to use it, since probably the majority of people are more familiar with .zip files as opposed to .rar files.

Maybe the addition of some custom taunts from the TV show might be good as well, to give the skin that bit extra ‘coolness’. ;)

One last thing is that the blue team skin appeared to be exactly the same as the default skin (since part of the default skins uniform is blue anyway). This isn’t anything major, but it can be a little confusing at times. I would recommend using maybe a stronger, or perhaps darker shade of blue for the blue team skin, just to set them apart.

All in all though, a very good reskin here, which I am sure fans of Stargate Atlantis will especially enjoy! :)
