Crusades: Quest for Power is one of the historical real-time strategy part of published by Activision Value series The History Channel (license of the popular TV channel). Each game tells the story of one of the important historical events, appeared already titles such as The Alamo, the Civil War or Battle of Britain.
According to what the title might suggest, action Crusades deals with subsequent expeditions, cross-which in fact have taken place between the eleventh and the thirteenth century AD. The game does not, however, presents the most important battles or events that took place during this period, most of the missions are based on fictitious assumptions. At the same time it is worth to add, that there is no provision for any network modes, the Crusades was only designed for a single player. The gameplay is similar to other real-time strategy games, the player must construct their own database, for this purpose, it needs a bunch of gold coins that are in the game as the only "raw material". Most of the mission is based on the Elimination of enemy forces, a vital role so to build up stronger and diverse army. A player can choose several types of units, including infantry, archers and Crusader cover. It is worth noting that some branches have valuable additional attributes, clerics can for example heal surrounding units. You might also say that the model of skill games role-playing appears the possibility of searching the bodies of enemies. Some of them have valuable items, for example. purses with gold. The player can also explore the surrounding boxes, some of them hidden priceless treasures, which can be later in the game market.
