Description Capable of harvesting metal from planets, this model of the Colonial agricultural vessel has an interesting history. It started its life as the Valley Forge, a vessel featured in a film called "Silent Running" that was released shortly after Star Wars. Once filming wrapped on that production, the producers of the original BSG purchased the filming model and inserted it into shots of the original Colonial Fleet. This ship was reproduced by the special effects company responsible for the re-imagined BSG, only this time the Valley Forge model appeared alongside (oddly enough) models of the Serenity from "Firefly" and the TMP-era USS Enterprise. Now there's a PotD in the making.
Still, mikemckeon007 seems bound and determined to give us one BSG model after another, leading up to a full race mod release. Can't wait for more.
