Description
East Kent Branch Line V1.1 - NSE Era - 3rd Rail

Dover Central - Canterbury South Via Folkestone

Unfortunately because this route uses default only assets the actual 3rd rail doesn't show mainly because it is only avaliable in paywhere items.

Here is a fictional route based in East Kent around three towns that are named after real life towns in East Kent, although are completely fictional. The main towns are Dover a small coastal town (although no actual coast), Folkestone a small city with a few skyscrappers, and Canterbury which is another small city which will have a small airport (Canterbury Parkway - not included). This route was created for the 2nd UKTrain Sim route challenge and is a 3rd rail based route, which means all electric trains will work on it (even those with Overhead Pantographs). This route was created in a month so it won't be the best route although I've tried to make the route accurate for an East Kent Setting, it won't be perfect but then what is.

The era for this setting is Network South East, although for the scenarios I have used Network South East Class 166 Networker Turbo units as Class 466 Two Car Networkers simply because those are the closest that I could get. I have also used Intercity 125s for the mainline parts simply for the difference of stock although in reality it would more likely be slam door stock would be more accurate (e.g. 411s, 421s or 423s or similar) The route starts in Dover a small town which has a terminal station with 6 Platforms and the start of three main line routes, including the branch line, a fast line via folkestone and another line which goes via Canterbury Parkway (not in this route)
The branchline and part of the mainline via folkestone are included within the route. The Branch Line starts at Dover Central and goes through the Villages of Adisham, Bekesbourne then through Folkestone (East then Central) where the route goes onto the Village of Aylesham and then finally Canterbury South. (The branch does actually finish at Canterbury Parkway but that part couldn't be included for this challenge route)

(no Payware DLC needed)

Since this file was made by myself I can't really rate it, although this file is a few months old but thought that I would upload it here as well (I've started work on the next version of this route already) - Danny
