And thus, Kyle Katarn rises once again in his DF2 incarnation. Only, he doesn't. He's still a George Lucas look-alike nerf herder. Frankly, I'm of the opinion that there was nothing wrong with Jason Court's appearance as Kyle, so why Raven Software decided to age him significantly and completely rearrange his skeletal structure, I'll never ever know.

What is changed, is Kyle's outfit, intended to be closer to the DF2 incarnation's apparel. Kyle now has black pants, brown boots, his gloves are replaced by bracers and ungloved hands to match the DF2 cutscenes, and various details are altered to be more accurate to DF2 such as the shoulder pad and minor torso details such as the pullstrings. Who wears laces around their neck, anyways? Any of those Reborn could've easily strangled Kyle! Stupid JK2 Kyle. >_>

Closer to DF2 Kyle is a matter of opinion, but one thing is fact. We have a different outfit for Kyle in JK2 SP, and it's a decent alternate outfit. So... why worry about it?
